My brother got engaged!
Yesterday was my brother’s engagement lunch and I felt really happy for him. Honestly, I never thought of being the best man for his wedding because he didn't seem to be the marriage type of person. First the bride’s and groom’s families got together at my parents’ house without formalities. In fact, this lunch was just to show their intentions of getting married and building a family. Then in the near future another event will happen in a more traditional way. We (my family and I) had a great connection with the bride’s parents, sister, and brother-in-law, so the lunch was filled with a familiar and friendly vibe. Everyone was joyful and hopeful for this new stage in the couple’s life. Finally, we all said that we couldn't wait for the wedding day.
